Report Name: Analytical Results II - No Sample Taken (example)
File Name: EarthSoft.Reports.Library.86698.dll
Dependencies: Analytical Results II
Software: EQuIS Professional and EQuIS Enterprise
Source: EQuIS Professional install
Language: English
Output Type: Report Grid1
Description: This report returns analytical results and also includes sample data, even if that sample does not have any tests/results. The sample must still satisfy the sample-specific defined parameters such as date range or sample type. All of the other parameters are related to tests and results.
Installation Instructions: This report assembly is part of the EQuIS Professional installation. No additional installation steps are necessary.
Overview: A sample is considered a No Sample Taken (NST) sample if it has a record in DT_SAMPLE but:
A.no associated records in both DT_TEST and DT_RESULT
or
B.associated records in DT_TEST but no associated records in DT_RESULT
In EQuIS Build 7.22.1 and up:
•For scenario A, the report will show NST sample data in its results when the sample satisfies its defined parameters (e.g. Sample\Date Range), regardless of what the report parameters under Result and/or Test sections are selected.
•For scenario B, the report will present the NST sample data in its results when the sample satisfies its defined parameters (e.g.Sample\Date Range) and the test satisfies its defined parameters (e.g. Test\Method(s)), regardless of which report parameters under the Result section are selected.
Prior to Build 7.22.1, selecting report parameters from the Test and Result sections excluded any No Sample Taken results as those are only associated with Sample-related parameters. As a workaround, a user can select Test Method: NULL/BLANK to return all No Sample Taken records, then use the "Go (Append)" functionality with other test- and result-based report parameters to append records with results to this dataset.
An option is available to allow report of locations without samples. This option is hidden by default. To enable visibility on this option, publish the report, then change the PARAM_NAME=@include_loc_without_samp in ST_REPORT_PARAMETER and set this VISIBILITY=Y. This will display a new input parameter called "Location\Include locations without samples". Checking this box will show locations within the facility that do not have any samples within the report criteria in the facility, regardless of whether those locations have or do not have samples that match the criteria. The included locations may have other samples (that do not match the criteria) or they may have no samples at all.
Note: The report only returns SYS_LOC_CODE information if DT_COORDINATE data is populated. |
