Description: The SPM format allows SPM plans to be imported/exported to different facilities.

Installation Instructions: This format requires a licensed SPM and the SPM Schema applied to the database.

•For SPM usage, no additional steps are necessary.

•For Enterprise and Professional usage of the export, this format should be published to the database. The export will be available for selection as a report once it has been published.

Overview: The data included in the SPM format can include SPM plans, plan and shared contracts, planned tasks and samples, and scheduled tasks and samples.

The SPM format uses Get and Create methods to retrieve and populate certain fields in the database, i.e. Get/CreateSPMContractId, Get/CreateSPMContractMAGId, Get/CreateSPMContractMethId, Get/CreateSPMContractContainerId. Additional information including descriptions of each field, data types, method mappings and definitions can be found in the EDD Description. The EDD Description file can be created in EDP.
