Description: The Service Provider Licensing Usage Report reports on product usage and billing rate information for EarthSoft Resellers.

 

Installation Instructions: Download the Service Provider Licensing - Usage report, unblock the *.zip file and extract the EarthSoft.Reports.Library.44110.dll to the EQuIS Professional installation folder. For default installations this directory is C:\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS or (for per-user installation) %localappdata%\Programs\EarthSoft\EQuIS\. The report will be available for selection once Professional has been relaunched. In order to use the report, you must install the SPLA certificate using the SPLA form.

 

Overview:

The report should be run monthly and returned to EarthSoft in a timely manner. This report requires that one or more SPLA certificates be present in the database being reported on. Output is an LZF (.zip) archive with one or more Excel 2007 spreadsheets. Each spreadsheet represents utilization for a registered licensing agreement as represented in the installed SPLA Certificates. This report was designed to be run as an Environmental Information Agent (EIA) on the first day of each month. The input parameters default to the previous month at runtime. The Excel document properties contain information identifying the Service Provider (reseller), Enterprise Client, SPLA Agreement, and EQuIS Schema Network IDs.

 

The DLL also includes the EQuIS Online - Usage Report which uses the same queries to report on usage, but does not require the presence of SPLA Certificates in the database.
