EarthSoft Formats by Product

EQuIS products available with additional EQuIS product licensing have additional EQuIS Schema requirements. EQuIS formats for these products are used to import and/or export data from the additional database tables and fields. EQuIS formats for various EQuIS products are detailed below. See specific product documentation for more information.

Alive

EQuIS Alive comes with several formats, including the Alive_Survey.xsd format and Alive-refvals.dll format (\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS\Formats\Alive), and the Alive_EDGE.dll format (\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS\Alive). These formats are included with the Alive installation and are used at various stages of Alive implementation. To install EQuIS Alive, select the Alive module during the installation of EQuIS Professional.

AQS

See Using EQuIS AQS Module with EDP for information regarding the formats available with the AQS Module. For those who have access, these format files are available on the Downloads Dashboard on the EarthSoft Community Center (ECC) in the Products\AQS Module\2022 folder.

Collect

A simplified EDD format called COLLECT_INSPECTION is available for use with EQuIS Collect forms. The EDGE format is also frequently used in Collect templates.

DQM

The DQM-refvals format is available in the EQuIS\Formats\DQM folder, if DQM is included in the installation of EQuIS Professional. This format can be used to create new DQM QAPPs or update existing DQM QAPPs.

EDGE

The out-of-the-box EDGE format includes several files in the .\EDGE\Formats\EDGE folder.

Using all of the files found in .\EDGE\Formats\EDGE folder, either zipped or unzipped, will also work for loading the EDGE format in Professional EDP or adding the EDGE format to an Enterprise site. The EDGE format is also frequently used in Collect templates.

Geotech

The following standard formats are available with EQuIS Geotech:

•Geotech_refvals Format – Contains an EDD section for each of the reference value tables applicable to the EQuIS Geotech Schema. Use this format to import, update, and/or export reference values.

•Geotechnical_v2 Format – Used to upload geotechnical data to the appropriate EQuIS database tables.

•Geo_Lab_Fees Format – Used to update the corporate, office, and project related lab fees for lab test methods stored in the RT_GEO_TEST_METHOD table.

Live

The Live format checks and loads data into the EQuIS Live tables via EDP. The latest Live Format can be found in the Products> EQuIS Live folder on the Downloads Dashboard on the EarthSoft Community Center.

SPM

Vapor Intrusion

The Vapor Intrusion module includes the VI-refvals format and the EQuIS_Vapor_Intrusion format. The EQuIS_Vapor_Intrusion format is used to load current or historical vapor intrusion data into an EQuIS database. The EQuIS_Vapor_Intrusion format also contains an Export File that can be used to export vapor intrusion data from the database. The EQuIS_Vapor_Intrusion.zip format file is available for download from the Products\Vapor Intrusion folder on the Downloads Dashboard on the ECC.
