The Well Installation Form is a part of the standard EDGE format (EDGE_SPM). Default units are obtained from RVF.RT_UNIT.UNIT_CODE, where UNIT_TYPE = length.
Segment material types are obtained from RVF.RT_WELL_SEGMENT_TYPE.MATERIAL_TYPE_CODE. Segments types are predefined, but they can be customized. More information is available in the Associating Well Segment Ref Values with Well Installation Form article.

The inner diameter of a well can be stored in DT_WELL_SEGMENT.INNER_DIAMETER and the corresponding unit in DT_WELL_SEGMENT.DIAMETER_UNIT.
The SEGMENT_TYPE field is set to SOLID_WELL_RISER in EDGE, however, this can be remapped using the remap tables.
